is it normal to get no exp from hunting in dark zone??

i was killing dark zone mobs. i killed almost 10k mobs but got no exp

i got 10m money tho

they say that you will get exp from killing mobs in darkzone but they don't give any exp

i did and they replied to me but i don't know if they have fixed the issue or not
