No, store iron is not permanent
500 iron which you got from voting crate has a 7 days expiry while the other 500 which you got from normal voting has 14 days expiry
Also iron which you get from voting crate keys can be used in minigame only
To check expiry, go to another gamemode like KitPvP, and then hover over it in goldshop
