I had the same problem. But with a different cosmetic. I just relogged into the game and I found the cosmetic in the place it had to be.

you should probably try relogging

First try chaning lobby, then restart game (relog) if this doesnt help fill bug report

Whenever I win something from the brainwasher, I just join another lobby an it will be there.
