You can trade custom books with a NPC called tinkerer for exchange of mystery dust of that rarity of the book .there's a chance that the mystery dust will turn into +1 success rate/+4success rate/+10 success rate.the mystery dust can give similar - destroy rate aswell.theres a chance of not getting either of these dusts and just getting plain dust which can't be used.you can then use both the +success and -destroy rate on the book to increase/decrease the rates of the book
