So I have been posting Minecraft Montages for 2 Months now and learned a lot about how to make a good Montage, so I decided to share my knowledge here.
Here a couple of good songs that are free to use and good for a Montage:
My Heart - Different Heaven
Freefall - Arlow
This is lie - The Arcturians
save Me - ROY KNOX
Don't Surrender - Ncs
keep you - Spektrum and Sara Skinner
Ignite - Egzod and Tom Wilson
Walk away - Facading
Blue Eyed Demon - ROY KNOX
Pull Me Down - Teyeq
Mortals - Warriyo and Laura Brehm
Breakdown - Xaia and Oly
Time - 3rd Prototype and Lex Dave
Wollow Tree- Rival, Cadmium and Rosendale
Canyon - Virya ( CANT MONITICE!!!!)
Castle - N3WPORT
The Revolution - Neoni and Egzod
You are - Alex Holmes and Dark Point
Let's go - Lensko
Ping - Exyl
Shooting Starts - Aero Chord
The Guardians of Angle - Niviro
You & I - Gexor
We Are - Jo Cohen & Sex Whales
All of these songs are non copyrighted/ free to use so you are fine using them in your Montage
FIRST TIP: If you use replay mod render it properly and use shaders. If your pc, well sucks, then set your camera points and time stamps first, switch on a shader and render, it will be werthed here a good totourial

Thats the things I did in my first Montage, check it out here:

SECOND TIP: sync the Music with the gameplay! it gives your Montage a much better vibe! it can be quite hard to time it in replay mod, so you can first time it in your first person clips wich makes a much larger difference. If you have more then 1 sync, then you will have to do some time remaping(slowdowns/speedups)
I did That in my second Montage already and it made a huge difference! check it out here:

THIRD TIP: when you can do some fancy bridging, do a bridging clip at the begining of the video, it keeps more viewers ocupied and makes your watch time go up a bit. Dont use a clickbate thumbnail bridging, your watch time will take a huge hit!
FOURTH TIP: Do color grading/ adjust the bridghness saturation and contrast. You maby dont notice it when watching, but that can be the difference between a viewer watching your Montage and watching another Montage! My first Color Graded Montage:

A Remake of my First Montage that has all previosly Mentioned Things:

I edited all but my last Montage on Shotcut, its free and good enough, if you can I would suggest editing on adobe premier since your speedups and slowdowns are smoother.
another question, who do you think makes the best jartex Montages?
here my last Montage:
