How to combine 2 custom enchant books!

hey im just a new player i just wanted to ask suppose i had overlord 2 and one more overlord 2 how to combine it to get overlord 3? like in the magicans place it says u cant place books..
so how to combine these books

Put The 2 books in 2 armor pieces and do /magician and combine them

do /magician and put both of your books and then it will take some exp to combine it
