Normally getting it to level 30 costs between $6-7k, if it's like before. It's expensive, you have to optimize your enchantment and develop a strategy, I have my business and a strategy for enchantment so I'm always profitable.

You can earn a lot of money if you fish during the Luck of the sea event (15k if you have a rod no enchant but you can have 45k and a little more if you enchant Lure 3 and Luck of the sea 3) without event fishing is slow so I advise you to come to the Luck of the sea events (/events IG to know the dates) you also earn xp by fishing
