BedWars How do you defend your bed on bedwars?

Only happens with me if I forget to care about my base or if I'm just racing someone.

That's the problem for me, I don't care about my bed and I'm racing everyone

I normally only put a layer on doubles and I mostly leave it unprotected in solos. I am curious if anyone else does the same.

I never defend bed or if I am doing it then I just place a layer of wool

In solos I don't defend my bed.
In duos, it's my teammate who defends.
In trios, I never do trios.
In quads, my teammates defend the bed.
So Idk how to defend my bed xD
More seriously I can defend my bed, but I never do it.

If I'm playing solos usually I like to just rush and put 1 layer of wool, but if I'm doubles or squads, my teammates do 1 layer of clay and 1 of wool.

Sandstone is very easy to break even without any pickaxe I don't recommend it

i dont even get myslf tools or tnt if i see sandstone on others def

am not much of a defender but in my view, if u need a pretty much good def in quads i would say go for endstone and wood ..... the combination of those 2 blocks is weird but whenever i tnt the bed def with end stone and wood on .....it j blows like 2-4 blocks without exposing the bed ......idk it just smhow manages to protect ur bed from 1 tnt so opponents gonna need 2-3 depends on ur def size to get through the def
