I am not sure if you can reduce it or not, but i am pretty sure you cannot, i am sorry if i am wrong please correct me

You can reduce it

To get any fixing / angel dust you need to /tinkerer the books you dont need.
Which gives you mystery dust
When you open the mystery dust you have a chance of getting fixing/angel/ruined dust
[ruined dust is useless]

Example: If you need mythical dust you need to tinkerer the mythical books you dont need and you can get mystery mythical dust which has a chance to give the dusts stated above

I suggest you put Smite 5 on your sword, because all bosses are actually zombies in disguise, Smite will actually work a lot better than Sharpness.
