You can make a god armor by adding the following enchants to your armor.

• Helmet: Mending, Unbreaking III, Protection IV, Aqua Affinity, and Respiration.
• Chestplate: Unbreaking III, Protection IV, Thorns III, and Mending.
• Leggings: Mending, Unbreaking III, and Protection IV.
• Boots: Mending, Unbreaking III, Protection IV, Swift Sneak III, Feather Falling IV.

You can create god armour (or G-sets for short) by combining the different prots with mending in an anvil. Then you can hold the combined book in your hand, and click it into the armour.
TLDR: Combine the prot enchant you want to add with another enchant like mending or unbreaking 3, and then you can click it on and combine the prot.
