What is the suggestion about?

Giveaway improvements​

Description:

Hey y'all, i've came up with an amazing idea to improve the Giveaways channel for the discord server​

I'll start off with the first improvement:​

Requirements to enter the giveaways​

​

This is needed, incase if someone decides to attempt on winning an giveaway by going on as many alt accounts to increase the chances of winning, which have 0 messages as well​

Here are some examples of the requirements​

"Send 10 messages in #main_chat"​

​

''Send 15 messages in #donators_chat'' (Only for Donators)​

"Must have over 100 messages"​

​

Small Note: Spamming should not be counted as sending messages​

​

Joke requirements can be allowed aswell​

e.g. : ''Must have access to the giveaways channel''​

''Must have access to main chat''​

Secondly,​

​

Claim time​

​

Mention giveaway claim time in the giveaway ping message instead of saying it after it ends​

​

It should be a bit shorter as well, to 6-18 hours or so​

​

​

New Pinned Message​

​

If this gets implemented, please make a new pinned message about sponsoring, requirements etc​

​

Let other people sponsor the giveaways​

​

Now you are probably thinking​

"We can't trust people, why do you want people to sponsor Giveaways"​

Well i came up with an idea about this​

To Sponsor an giveaway, you must dm an SrMod+ or a staff with Team Giveaways​

And to give them proof of you having an rank voucher/able to buy an certain rank​

Team GA members should also say that the sponsor of the giveaway is chocz700 for example, and then they should dm the sponsor, if they do not dm the sponsor then they have to notice the Team GA members that they did not claim in time​

You will also have an option to​

1. DM the person thats hosting (But letting the sponsor know that they claimed/dmed on time)​

2. DM the Giveaway Host AND THEN the sponsor​

​

You should be able to get Donator this way as well​

Note: If the sponsors attempts to scam the winners, then they're access to the #giveaways will be removed by an SrMod+​

They'll also have to dm a SrMod+​

How can this idea help to improve JartexNetwork?

Great improvement for the giveaways, and useful for people who want to sponsor giveaways​

Negative for letting other people sponsor giveaway rewards. However, I agree with the rest.

I mean, I would still allow players to give away nitro or such. Only problem is theres a high chance with Nitro that they just scam the server, due to Nitro having a 2 day expiry date. If we were to allow players to sponser, make it so they can only sponser JartexNetwork items. I'm not sure if Jartex ever does non-Jartex related giveaways, but it could lower the scamming rate.
