Gems Bugged

My gem disappeared when i'm sorting my inventory because after i accidentally drag the gem to my grass block it disappeared and said "You applied the gem on this pickaxe etc." and i can't get the gem again.

Be careful when you're sorting your inventory don't make the mistake i made
