Hello, players of JartexNetwork,

Factions will reset this Saturday for a brand new map! We've taken on-board various community feedback based on previous maps, and we're continuing to plan further features based on this. Your feedback is valuable to us, so keep it coming! The last map has not been up to our standards however we are confident that this Season will fix all existing issues and bring new light to our Faction server. We have heard your concerns and suggestions and we are here to meet and exceed your expectations. We hope that your suggestions/ideas/or bug reports are now fixed and or added within this reset.

It's with great pleasure that we can announce that this all will be released this Saturday (December 21, 2019) we are expecting the release around 8 PM CET.

If you do encounter any bugs or any issues be sure to make a bug report as we shall be closely looking at that section to fix things as soon as possible on the new reset!





End of the world event

There will be an end of the world event on factions. Lets quickly explain what this event is about; to celebrate the coming reset we will put around 5 days before the reset signs at spawn, if you click those signs there will open a menu and you can get tons of free items, think about free gkits, millions of in-game money, tons of free experience to make the overpowerest armor ever! Everyone will be able to finish their islands because you can get everyone for free, you can finally pvp to everyone without the fear of losing your gear, you have worked weeks for. So clearly this is the event everyone should participate in! Hop on factions and have fun!

Faction Top Rewards
This new and upcoming Faction season comes of course with a brand new Faction top competition.

Map resets will now last 10 weeks
A season will last exactly ten weeks or 70 days. This means that a schedule for the start and end of a map is pre-defined, as-well-as an end of map payout what will be at Saturday 29 February 2019 at 19:00 GMT / 14:00 EST / 13:00 CST / 12:00 MT / 11:00 PST

The season starts at the following date and time:

Every 2 weeks Rewards: #1, #2, & #3

End of the Season Reward:

The end of the season rewards will be paid out after 70 days of the release!




There may be additions to this over the next few days, or there may be things we've forgotten to add. However, the futures listed below are features that are already completed at this exact moment of writing the post. We are currently working on more features planned. So, let's not make it longer and go straight to what we have updated:

    • The new map will feature a brand new spawn!
    • Brand new end world & snow world.
    • New warps and NPCs around spawn for easy access.
  • The border for overworldwill be 18,000 x 18,000 ( -9000 -> 9000)
    • Spawn in the middle, Semi-flat, vanilla biome. Y height: 60

    • Currently on Factions, could you only see the first 21 richest factions' spawners in the /f top GUI. This is very useful information as to what kind of spawners they have placed, and how many of each type. So we have added a new command, /f spawners <faction_name>, which shows a faction's spawners just like in the /f top GUI.
  • NEW! [item] and [inventory] allowed on /f c f or /f c a
  • NEW! / f vault
    • These vaults will hold items for your Faction with access for those you trust enough to use it!
  • Enabled factions economy
  • Completely recoded /itemfilter
    • Added all possible items in minecraft.
    • Fixed Telepathy in combination with the itemfilter on.
    • Fixed an issue where all of the items inside /filter would be set to not pickup.
  • UPDATED! Faction top
    • Faction top is once again based on spawners.
    • Faction top will update way more often, instead of each 24 hours, we will try to run it each hour.
      • This value might change depending on the results of performance.
    • The spawner value will have a warmup.
    • New updating and calculating system
    • If a faction owner hasn't logged in for 14 days will the faction no longer be calculated
    • Fixed unclaiming error
    • Spawner values will now incrementally reflect on /f top. Meaning that every 12 hours, 10% of the spawner's value will appear in /f top. This is to prevent /f top sniping and wealth-hiding practices

  • UPDATED! Supply Crates
    • These are 30 chests that will spawn around spawn in the warzone every 3 hours.

    • You can use /drops time to check when the next supply crate will run
  • Reduced sensitivity shop captcha
  • BUG FIX! Movement Glitch
    • You will no longer glitch back into blocks when running.

    • Koth will be enabled as soon as grace period is over! To give everyone a fair chance to get some armor.
    • Added different levels for shockwave pickaxes
    • Added Auto Sell Harvestor Hoe/Upgradable Hoe

Q: Why did factions reset?
A:
A lot of people have left and said the map became boring they have seen everything, and they want a fresh start. So here it is a clean new map with some updates!


This means all factions, items, money and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. Of course, all purchases will be reissued so nobody will be out of pocket in that regard. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features, and updates the different kind of gameplay and style being provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!
