We are excited to announce that the new season of Factions Immortal is now live! In this update, we have focused on fixing bugs and fine-tuning the existing features to provide a better gameplay experience for our players.
While we always strive to bring new and exciting content to the game, this season we wanted to ensure that the core gameplay is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We have spent a lot of time working on fixing bugs and improving the overall stability of the game, and we hope you will appreciate the changes.

End of the world
To celebrate the end of the season, we will be hosting an end-of-season event. At around 4 days before the release, we will be placing reset signs at spawn which you can click and claim a number of rewards; Free items, Free gkits, millions of in-game money, and tons of free experience to level up your overpowered armor. Everyone will be able to finish their rank-ups because you can get everything for free. You can fight with everyone without the fear of losing the gear you have spent weeks gathering. So clearly this is the event everyone should participate in! Hop on Immortal Factions and have fun!

Here is the list of the changes made for this reset. I highly suggest you give a good read over all of these to make sure you are familiar with the most recent updates and are not missing out on important details.
Payouts! Faction Top Rewards
We will have bi-weekly rewards for the top factions this new season of Immortal Factions!
This will go on until the end of the season which will last exactly 5 weeks or 35 days and end with the final payout.
View all the dates in the /payouts menu.
The season will end 1 day later, on a Saturday, to give everyone a full last day to participate.
End-of-the-season rewards
First place: $350 USD PayPal and €500 worth of Iron currency.
Second place: $150 USD PayPal and €350 worth of Iron currency.
Third place: €250 worth of Iron currency.
Bi-weekly rewards
First place: €75 worth of Iron currency.

New! Spawn
A good season starts with a brand-new spawn.
Get ready to brave the cold and conquer the snowy battlefields in the new winter-themed season of Factions Immortal.
This season is sure to be packed with intense battles and frosty fun. Don't miss out on all the action and join us in the new winter-themed world of Factions Immortal.

The spawn contains multiple KOTHs again.
Are you looking for some help? There are plenty of NPCs explaining all the features.
Supply drops will spawn all across the warzone, and this season even in bigger numbers.
A new seasonal crate has been added again.
We will be having a total of 20 corners with 5 worlds, and those worlds are the following:
Over World (/spawn)
The border for the overworld will be 10,000 x 10,000 (-5,000 to 5,000) - The spawn is located in the middle.
1,000 x 1,000 warzone.
Koths will be located at each side of /spawn close to it.
The End (/warp end)
The border for the end world will be 10,000 x 10,000 (-5,000 to 5,000) - The warp is located in the middle.
Flat end stone will be placed from Y:1 to Y:30.
This warp counts with 1 KOTH.
Wild West World (/warp wildwest)
The border for the wildwest world will be 7,500 x 7,500 (-3,750 to 3,750) - The warp is located in the middle.
Flat orange clay will be placed from Y:1 to Y:30.
This warp counts with 1 KOTH.
Space World (/warp space)
The border for the space world will be 7,500 x 7,500 (-3,750 to 3,750) - The warp is located in the middle.
Flat end stone will be placed from Y:1 to Y:30.
This warp counts with 1 KOTH.
Snow World (/warp snow)
The border for the jungle world will be 7,500 x 7,500 (-3,750 to 3,750) - The warp is located in the middle.
Flat white clay will be placed from Y:1 to Y:30.
An outpost will be located within this world.
Notice! About the Grace Period
This season instead of 7 days of the grace period you will have a total of 10 days grace period, and here is why:
As this map will be released just a day before Christmas it means the grace period will end on December 30th. On December 31st to give everyone a fair break we always enable the grace period each year, so that everyone can enjoy this last day of the year and go out with a bang without having to worry about someone lighting fireworks in their base.
Because of this, it would mean there is a grace period from December 23rd until December 30th, then a few hours later on December 31st the Grace Period would enable again and 24h later it would be disabled again. We feel like this isn't something that would be appreciated so we decided for the whole new years weekend we will be enabling the grace period and extending it until 8 PM CET on January 2nd, 2023.
New! Christmas Zone
The Christmas Zone is now open and ready for action! The Christmas Zone is a temporary new Dark Zone that you can enter.
This festive new world is filled with both PvP and PvE challenges, and it's up to you to rise to the occasion and emerge victorious. Take on the role of a ruthless holiday hunter, hunting down mischievous elves for some quick cash. But be warned, the elves won't go down without a fight.
But the real highlight of the Christmas Zone is the powerful Santa boss that spawns every 4 hours. This formidable foe is sure to put your skills to the test, but defeat him and you'll be rewarded with a brand new Christmas Lootbag filled with crazy powerful items that will help you dominate the battlefield.
So gather your faction and head to the Christmas Zone to join in on the holiday mayhem. Happy hunting!
New! Legendary KOTHs
A new exciting change for Factions Immortal, Legendary KOTHs. These are normal KOTHs but with a much better loot table.
We know we promised Weekend KOTHs last season but we encountered some issues with the plugin and a flexible loot table so we were unable to forfill that promise, however for this season we have fixed the plugin and are now able to give you the KOTH changes you all have been waiting for!

These Legendary KOTHs will always be active on Saturdays and Sundays, these days most players have time to play and we want to reward you for choosing
to play on our Factions server with some great rewards.

Looking to start your own Legendary KOTH? Now you can! The Boss Lootbags from the Dark Zone has a new item in the loot table, the Legendary KOTH Starter Box. This box contains a random KOTH starter for an available KOTH. Once you used this item the KOTH will start as a Legendary KOTH and will have the better loot table.
Updated! Custom Enchantments
The custom enchantments are a huge part of Factions Immortal, and that is why we will be making some small changes in order to make it more fun for everyone.
Custom Enchantments on Bosses
We know that you, the player, want things to be quick and easy, in order to make things a bit more fun and rewardable by allowing your weapon enchantments to work against the Bosses as well, so that is exactly what we did. This makes the new Christmas Zone, and the old existing Dark Zone something that scales with your gear building as well, the following enchantments will now work against Bosses as well:
Rage, Enrage, Blessed, Fast Turn, Double Damage, Vampire, Life Steal, Berserk, Devour, and Nutrition.
Removal of Purge
The feedback of the community is clear, the purge enchantment is disliked. Instead of trying to please the community with changes, we decided it is in our best interest to fully remove this enchantment from the game.
Reduction of Legendary Book price
We recently increased the price of legendary enchantment books to 65,000 experience, however after listening to the community we noticed that everyone preferred the old price, and that is why we will be reducing the price back to 45,000 experience for Legendary Enchantment books.
Updated! Faction Shield and Base Claims
We have made a change to the way that faction shields work in the game. Previously, all claims made by a faction were protected by the faction's shield. However, we have now implemented a change where only claims that are directly connected to a base claim will be protected by the faction shield.
This means that any other claims made by a faction that is not directly connected to the base claim will not be protected by the shield.
We hope this change will provide a more enjoyable and fair gameplay experience for all players.
Spawners in base claims
On top of that, because of the way our season works with base claims we also decided it's in our best interest to keep the competitive integrity of the gamemode by making spawners only work in base claims. This means you can no longer grind for a whole season to build a base in the last week. Spawners will now only activate in a base claim.
Updated! Faction Raid Timers
The changes to the shield logic also apply to Raid Timers. These Raid Timers will now only be activated when you are shooting at a claim that is directly connected to a base claim.
Removal of Raid Timer limitations.
Many players have claimed the land around bases which makes the base nearly impossible to raid with our current raid timer system. From now on, however, explosions will work in other factions’ claims even while you have a timer on a different faction. This will eliminate the problem of unraidable PVP bases and allow players to raid bases without anything getting in their way.
Raid timer logging.
Once you have started a raid it will now be logged within your /f logs, the same goes for when your raid ends. Once the raid ends these logs will be added to the target faction as well. This makes it easier to keep track of which raid happened during what period of time.
Updated! Pets
We are excited to announce that we have made some balance changes to pets in the game. We understand that pets are an important part of the gameplay experience for many players, and we want to ensure that they are well-balanced and fair for all.
To achieve this, we have looked into the performance of pets in various situations and have made the necessary adjustments to ensure that they are a viable and useful addition to your in-game strategy.

The Villager pet is the favorite out of all the pets, and there is nothing wrong with being liked but being abused is not something this poor Villager deserved! That is why we will be tuning down the Villager Pet. Cooldown increased: 30 minutes > 120 minutes Multiplier decreased: x3 > x2 | Unlike the Villager the Iron Golem pet is lacking some love and appreciation from the players, and it is in need of a buff! This buff will be quite a step up from what it used to be so we will be slightly increasing the cooldown. Updated! Special Sets
Last season we increased the protection levels for all special sets to Protection 5, however after looking into the community feedback we decided it is in our best interest to revert this change.
That is why all special sets for this season will be tuned back to Protection 4 because with the masks and pets the protection 5 special sets gave you too much power compared to a normal protection 5 set without any perks.
On top of that, the promised Nike set will be added to the game, this set can be purchased from the faction shop, we introduced this set a few seasons ago but it was never obtainable in-game, so we decided it should be a set that you can purchase. Next to that, we will also be making a small change to the Bard Set, making it the set that it is supposed to be.

Updated! Infinite Chest
Ever since we introduced Infinite Chests to the game they have been a crucial feature for your faction's success. That is why we will be giving the Infinite Chest a small update that it needs.
We have addressed several issues with the chest, including problems with it being removed by chunk busters.
Capacity and Sell Timer.
In addition, we have increased the maximum upgrade for capacity, so players can store even more items in their Infinite Chest. We have also made a change to the maximum upgrade for the sell timer, which will now make the sell timer disappear altogether. This means that players can sell their items at their convenience, without having to wait for the sell timer to expire.
Updated! Infinite Blocks
Infinite Blocks an update that we recently made to our factions server. For this update is the addition of a separate /shop section for infinite blocks. This section allows players to purchase and use these blocks in their builds. The blocks that now come in infinite mode are the following:

Fixed! Bug Reports
This season we did our best to fix all the existing bugs that occur in our Factions Immortal server, here is a list of bugs we managed to squeeze out this season:
- Fixed resurrection bone not working.
- Fixed autosell and harvester hoe.
- Fixed and re-enabled duels.
- Fixed the /lootbag command to preview lootbags.
- Fixed spawner upgrades on some mobs not working.
- Fixed iron bar being above your head in warden cage.
- Fixed some masks abilities not working.
- Fixed being able to change genbucket directions outside of your own claims.
- Fixed ichests being chunkbusted making it so you can not place one in that chunk again.
- Fixed printer kicks.
- Fixed eternal rank chat color acces.
- Fixed eternal rank coinflip no tax perk.
- Fixed eternal rank 20% pet exp.
- Fixed eternal rank 20% skill exp.
- Fixed eternal rank -15% pet cooldown.
- Fixed not receiving swords experience while grinding.
- Fixed /f top help showing wrong messages.
- Fixed not being able to preview seasonal crate.
- Fixed glass colors being wrong in /chatcolor.
- Fixed not being able to creeper egg spawners when an ichest is placed next to it.
- Fixed being kicked out of printer mode when flying sometimes.

Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:

- Made the username of Eternal rank bold with their rank color.
- Added a new reset lootcrate.
- Added a new seasonal crate.
- Added a command to remove masks from helmets.
- Added pet candy to level-up your pets.
- Nerfed needed experience in swords and axes skill.
- Added new Christmas tags.
- Nerfed Werwolf Mask.
- Added chunk busters to the /shop as well.
- Increased the price of TNT in the faction shop.
- Made Shockwave tools Efficiency 20 so that it instantly breaks any blocks.
Question and Answers
Why did Factions Immortal reset?
Factions just needed a reset, it wasn't updated for weeks so to make factions work again was a reset required. So here it is fresh new factions with updates!
This means all claims, items, money and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features, and updates the different kinds of gameplay and style being provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!
