EXP Usage in skyblock

I do not know what is the use of exp. I lose it when I die in the warzone. So i just want to know what it is used for so I know how valuable it is. Please tell me what it is use for

Basically u can use it to enchant stuff, get different custom enchants and also do /xpb all so u can keep it on your island before you go to the warzone so that you don't lose it.
