Cant go into Boss world

For some reason, I cannot go into the boss world or at least where they all spawn. When I go up to the slime blocks nothing happens, I am level 11 and not in combat so I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas?

Maybe they're just glitched? Are you still experiencing this problem?
