So, my little brother really wants to join and it says: You should join using username Theokol, not Theokol. This does not make sense because they are the exact same username!

If your brother is joining for the first time with the Username Theokol, I suggest to change the Username because the Username Theokol is already taken.

This happens because there might be a difference in capital letter like You should join with name Theokol not theokol. Fix that and you should be able to join.

then just name yourself theokol, try with small T

It is all about capital latters.
Just try to use same name what it says

Usernames are case sensitive, make sure to try with capitalising every letter
