Another way to increase fps is to go onto fullscreen mode and change full screen resolution (in video settings) to 1368x60 or something similar and boom. Increased my fps from 50 -> 80 which is a major increase for a computer like mine

Download a No item glint overlay, it removes the enchantment glint effect of enchanted items.

The best way to fix the FPS lag is using a fps boost texture pack, removing special effects and setting the chuncks to 7/8,

I use bad lion client and it helps me alot with boosting my fps. Normally i have around 600 fps and when i use blc i get 1000 fps
