I'm pretty sure new maps will be added whenever bedwars gets an update as a whole. It would be pointless just to add new maps. When that update will roll around is anyone's guess....

As much as I agree it takes time to build good quality maps and I don't think you should rush the process, additional maps will eventually be released.
