Adding PvE To Prisons

Suggestion Details:

"Part 1" - Gear

Reaper's Scythe (5k Souls)

  • New Hoe (Wooden or Stone) - Deals 2 Damage To Soul Mobs
  • Perk - Soul-Bane is 50% more Effective
  • Reaper's Scythe Will ONLY able to hit Soul-Mobs (No PvP)
  • Reaper's Scythe Will NOT Break and is Soul Bound

Soul Bane (Level I - X): Increases damage dealt to Soul Mobs by 10%
  • 500 Gems per Level

Soul Bound Enchant (Level I) - Item kept after death
  • 5,000 Gems
  • Only Enchantable to Reaper’s Scythe

Soul Suit (Dyed either Dark Red or Black)
  • Reapers Skull
    • Increases Soul Enchants by 1 Rank
  • Reapers Cloak
    • Increases Soul Enchants by 1 Rank
  • Reapers Tattered Pants
    • Increases Soul Enchants by 1 Rank
  • Reapers Mist
    • Increases Soul Enchants by 1 Rank

“Part 2” - Soul Mobs and Souls

Soul Gems are No longer minable
. They should be renamed to "Souls" and they should be a PvE only item. This way it breaks up the monotony that is mining and only mining as players currently don't really PvP in the Soul Cave due to people just absorbing the Soul Gems.
  • The Soul-Cave will be divided into four separate zones as you progress further into the “Abyss”. Each Zone will be compiled of its own various mobs.
All normal weapons deal 1 HP to the Mobs as a base, able to be increased using Soul Bane up to 2 HP. The Reaper's Scythe deals 2 HP, able to be increased up to 5 HP using Soul Bane.

    • Basic Mobs
      • 8 HP
      • Zombies, Spiders, Baby Zombies
      • Chance to Drop 1-5 Souls
  • Zone 2
    • Enhanced Mobs
      • 16 HP
      • Zombie Pigmen, Blaze, Magma Cubes
      • Chance to Drop 1-10 Souls
  • Zone 3
    • Enchanted Mobs
      • 50 HP
      • Wither Skeleton, Enderman, Killer Bunnies OR Endermites
      • Chance to Drop 10-20 Souls
  • Zone 4 - The Abyss
    • Boss
      • Bosses gives “Boss Keys” based on Contribution “Points” (Boss Keys are used for a Boss Crate)
        • Points are determined based on how much damage you do.
      • Iron Golem
        • 5,000 HP
      • Skeleton Horse Rider
        • 3,000 HP
      • Charged Creeper
        • 1,500 HP
      • Witch
        • 1,000 HP
Add an Announcement when the Boss is about to Spawn. Make it a toggleable announcement in /settings.

"Part 3” - Reaper Pet


I would add a pet specifically for Souls and Soul gain. Heck this could be added now and people would use it guaranteed. I think this would be a good idea as it could be a reward in crates, which enables more possible monetization from the server. Additionally, it would actively encourage those that aren't aiming for Gtop to purchase pet eggs, as the only ones who really do currently are those aiming for Gtop.

Reaper Pet (These are for the Legendary Variant)
Eats - Souls (32)
Needs Food In - 3 Hours


  • Skill One
    • Soul Capture
      • 15% Chance to “Crystalize” a Soul Mob, granting Crystals (0.25% per level) (Crystals can be based on the mob)
  • Skill Two
    • Soul Absorption
      • 10% Chance to “Absorb” the Mobs Soul, increase Soul Enchants effect by 10% for 60 Seconds (0.25% per level)
  • Skill Three
    • Soul Annihilation
      • 20% Chance to deal x2.5 damage to the boss (0.25% per level) (Contributes to personal score)
The Legendary Variant can only be obtained via getting a rare drop from the Iron Golem Boss.

Requirements to Enter Soul Cave

  • Level 35 (swap level 34 and level 35 requirements)

“Part 4” - Boss Rooms / Sections

Zone 1
- Cobwebs, Normal Cave and Mine-Shaft themed.
The mobs would follow the overworld theme. They would be mobs such as Spiders, Zombies, and Skeletons. These mobs have a low chance to drop Souls each time they are killed.

Zone 2 - Nether Themed, primarily focusing on Fire/Lava & Nether Fortress remnants
These mobs would follow the nether theme. They would be mobs such as Zombie Pigmen, Magma Cubes and Blazes. These mobs would have a medium chance to drop Souls each time they are killed.

Zone 3 - End Themed, obsidian spikes & End Fortress Remnants
These mobs would follow the End theme. They would be Enderman, (Killer Bunnies OR Endermites) and Wither Skeletons (Wither Skeletons happened to flee while the players were slaughtering mobs in Zone 2). These mobs have a high chance to drop Souls each time they are killed.

Zone 4 - Void/Abyss
This would be the Boss Arena. This would be primarily black, using blocks such as wool and obsidian to create a kind of “void”, or a space where there is nothing but you and the boss.

Important Notice - These rooms will be separated via themed Glass OR Gates based on the themes of the two separated Zones. Upon completion of the task, these gates would be unlocked. Every player inside of the Soul-Cave will be teleported to Zone 4 10 Seconds before the Boss Spawns.


“Part 5” - Boss Spawn Requirements

Important Notice - PvP Is disabled inside of the Soul-Cave 120 Seconds before the boss spawns, while the boss is alive and for 120 Seconds after the boss has been defeated. If you leave the Soul-Cave closes 90 Seconds before the boss spawns. If you leave the Soul-Cave, by dying or going to /spawn or /warp, then you can not re-enter the Soul Cave.


  • Zone 1 - Kill 100 “Tier 1”
  • Zone 2 - Kill 100 “Tier 2”
  • Zone 3 - Kill 100 “Tier 3”

An Announcement will be made 120 Seconds before the Boss spawns stating which Boss it is and how long until the Soul-Cave is closed off.

Iron Golem
- Has a Guaranteed 1% Chance of Spawning. After fulfilling the 3 Zone Requirements, the Chance becomes 20%.
Skeleton Horse - Has a Guaranteed 14% Chance of Spawning. After fulfilling the 2 Zone Requirements, the Chance becomes 30%
Charged Creeper - Has a Guaranteed 35% Chance of Spawning. After fulfilling the 1 Zone Requirement, the Chance becomes 40%.
Witch - Has a Guaranteed 50% Chance of Spawning. After 1 Zone requirement has been filled, the Chance becomes 10%

A big +1 to this one Six, this is the kind of Player vs Entity content I've dreamed of being brought to Prison for ages. I like the moving away from mining part because that prospect of this gamemode is already reinforced as the primary gameplay and adding even more mining would make it stale. So it's about time to add another activity that will engage players who aren't a fan of either PvP or mining but like to destroy mobs.

For the mobs: I'd like 3 mobs per Zone, add Cave Spiders
or Magma Cubes to Zone 2, and Killer Bunnies to Zone 3. While the Charged Creeper looks cool as a boss, How will it last long if it's only attack is to blow up? I would change that to a mob that fights back a lot more like the Guardian(not the Elder one because we have no milk for the Mining Fatigue). Make sure the Iron Golem doesn't suffer knockback so people can't keep it back at a range with spam clicking. Make the Zone 1 mobs drop between 1-5 souls. Will the mobs have cool names especially the bosses?

Boss/Soul Crate: Add the Common gem box to the common rarity, even if not many people use it, it's still a common drop nonetheless that some people can find a use for. Add the Cursed Special Set as a Legendary drop, and add the Soul Scroll bag as an Uncommon or Rare drop. Add the Crystal Digger and Key Finder gems as legendary drops.

More Soul themed Items: A Spectral Pickaxe Box that has efficiency 750-1000, fortune 250-500, token greed 50-100, explosive 600-800, Soul Crystal 1-5, Soul Amplifier 5-10 and Soul Luck 3-15, this will be an Epic or Legendary drop in the crate. An Ancient Scythe (a golden hoe) that has Soul Bane 5-10 and Soul Leech, this is a Legendary drop. A Soul Knife (an iron sword) with Sharpness 20, Unbreaking 15, and Soul Bane 1-5, this will be an Uncommon or Rare drop. Add 3 new tags: [Soulless], [Immortal], and [Herobrine], all are obtainable as drops from the Iron Golem Boss with Soulless & Immortal being a Legendary Drop and all 3 tags are buyable on /buy. Add a Ghast autominer skin which throws explosive fireballs sometimes while it mines.


Placements #21-25 will get 15 souls and 15 crystals, then anybody after 25th place gets 0.
I really like this idea for everything but the tags. I feel like tags shouldn't be buyable. I like the idea of purely f2p tags that you can only get from grinding. Really cool idea.

Regarding the boss attacks, I don't think it'll be exactly as the mob attacks. For example, the charged creeper might launch TnT as a ranged Attack, or it might strike you with lightning etc.

I love the idea, it's boring to only mine. I think that there should be less ultra keys dropped tho, 10 might be too much imo, but other than that, everything seems solid to me. Huge +1 from me.

+1, This would make the prison gamemode more interesting with this new aspect added. Atm its just mining
