Hello, JartexNetwork players.
We have yet another minigame update for you in store, this time we took the time to update TheBridge. TheBridge has not received an update since it has been released so we did our best to listen to community feedback to make this update feel even more appreciated. Most of the update are quality of life changes, and fixes to the balancing of the game.
With great pleasure and joy, we can officially announce that the season has been released on Saturday 8th May 2021.

New! Brand new maps.To expand your map pool on TheBridge we added a total of 3 new maps!

New! Private gamesAs highly requested we have now finally implemented a way for players to host their private games on TheBridge. You can create your own private game by using the /privategame or /pg for short in one of the lobbies of TheBridge, in this menu you can select a map you like to play on. To play with your friends hop in a party and warp them to your private game to get started.

Players can only join your private games through parties.

New! Kit Upgrades & Kit Changes
Some of the existing kits in TheBridge have received an update as well. The following kits can now be upgraded with your coins. You can upgrade your kits inside a lobby of TheBridge.

| Alchemist | Spawn with a furnace to use for smelting gold. |
| Enchanter | Increased EXP while mining ores. |
| Healer | 25% chance to heal nearby teammates. |
| Medic | 50% to heal the teammates you hit with your medic bow, giving them regeneration 2 for 5 seconds. |
| Poisonman | Invincible to poinonous water. |
| Pyro | Sharpness I wooden sword. |
| Sprinter | Speed potion to plash on teammates. |
| Spy | Invisibility lasts longer. |
| Stopper | Increased duration & amplifier. |
| Tank | You receive more hearts. |
| Swapper | 50% to damage the enemy for 2 hearts when swapping locations. |
| Teleporter | 66% chance to blind the enemy when teleporting to them. |
| Vampire | 33% chance to regenerate teammates/ |
| Trapper | Access to more traps. |
On top of that you are now able to use /kit in-game to swap your kit. This however has a 5 minute cooldown, so choose wisely.
We also nerfed the impact of Strength II within the game, and with a nerf we mean a full removal of brewing Strength II, this potion was too strong to be in the game, so we decided to fully remove it.
New! Kit EditorWith all of these changes to the kits it was about time for us to give you a frequently requested feature; The Kit Editor. You can now edit the slots of items in your kit inside the TheBridge lobby. Simply shift click on a kit you own in the Kits Menu to start the edit.
Note: The upper bar in the edit inventory is your hotbar.
Updated! Game RewardsThe balacing of the kit prices, rewards at the end of a game has been requested so many times that we for sure had to include that within this update, and we did. We made the rewards so that the better you play, the more coins you will earn. Your end game coins are based on the following:
How many kills you made.
How many times you broke the nexus.
Did your team win the game or not.
With the coins being tweaked based on performance, we decided we might as well just do the same for game experience, so they have the same curve of rewarding based on performance as coins, just with different numbers.
We now also give proper rewards for brains, you will receive brains for every kill you make, however the more times you killed the same player the lower the chance of getting a brain you will have.
Updated! Spectating GamesBecause of players being able to join a game of TheBridge that has already started, spectating was never possible. With this update we gave the joining player the option to play, or to spectate the game they joined. If you decide to play, you will no longer be able to spectate the game, and if you decide to spectate you will no longer be able to play the game. So keep in mind that you will not be able to switch around in the same game.
Updated! StatisticsWe also improved some statistics for your games overall. These changes include the following:
Highest Win Streak
Upon reaching a new winstreak it will now keep track of your highest win streak too! There has also been added a leaderboard for this in the lobbies.
Losses when your team wins
You will no longer receive a loss when your teams wins, and you're still spectating. You will be granted the win as well as your winstreak will continue.
Losses on /leave
Previously, /leave would not count as a loss and your winstreak would not be update, this has now been fixed. Leaving mid game will count as a full loss.
Misc. Updates & ChangesHere's a list of some of the smaller things that have been added with this update.
- Decreased hunger loss
- Added /respawn
- Faster nexus regen at the start, slower towards end-game
- Buff Poisonman kit from 3 -> 5 seconds
- Added /stats in-game
- Confirmation when purchasing a kit
- Prevent chests & furnaces being placed on annoying places
- Fixed Top kills at end of game
- Remove nametags from enemies
- Fixed all kit items
- Disabled armorstand crafting
