I mean I do wanna throw shade at some horrible education systems where people don't know the history of their own country but I will remain quite xDDD
 
IMO It is just another variant of pizza toppings, Not everybody likes peperoni, same with the pineapple on pizza.
I personally prefer it without pineapple but it is not bad either with pineapple
