Replace the filter​

Suggestion Details:

Don't count msgs to whatever message counter there is if message doesn't fit "filter" parameters (25 letters, 6 words).​

The filter is annoying and just makes people type useless stuff which is a waste of time to read.​

Let us post short messages just don't count it for badges and stuff.​

How could this idea help improve JartexNetwork?

Makes forums serve its purpose - communication, and not just macro posting​

Let's see if this takes at least 3 years to accept and implement.​

Also dont expect a reply I'm probably not visiting forums for another 6 months good bye​

• In my honest opinion on this suggestion I'll have to say its Truely annoying, for some reason, one of us doesn't wanted to send many message, so adding this will prove a bit I guess.

Absolutely agree, forum should be a place for people to talk and communicate, instead of caring about the amount of messages and the badges.

this filter shouldn't be removed from suggestion subforums, if people have an opinion on a suggestion it WILL fit the filter parameters for sure. Instead of writing "+1" or "-1".... just upvote or downvote the suggestion.

The word and character limit is in place to prevent chan behavior, like-farming, and otherwise not contributing to a discussion/suggestion. Outright removing the filter would encourage people to post "useless stuff" including but not limited to "Ez" "L" "Carried" "Bozo" as single messages. The server team will need to have staff dedicated to handling the resulting bad faith reports and other issues that would follow.

If you truly need to make a post that is under the character limit, simply pad it out with "useless stuff" - 'writing for character limit', 'actual message inside spoilers' 'ignore: woijf eo awif jwaoj wa;j'.

thats only how you would use it not anyone else and there is a rule called off topic so useless stuff has always been punished for.

1) I stand corrected. Would that fall under Off-Topic or Flooding? I'd hope that an appeal could be made if users are contributing to a discussion through the use of spoiler tags or quote boxes, since they would be on topic while inside the spoiler box. (I admit that my last example (random characters) is spam, but if the post is using quotes and/or spoilers constructively and it makes sense for the thread, why would "actual message inside spoilers" receive an infraction?)
2) Making the rules easier to break will result in more people breaking them, accidentally or otherwise. I'm not saying people won't be punished, I'm just worried that lowering the bar will bring more spam and more rulebreaking. Like you've said, infractions will be given out to rulebreakers regardless of the filter, but making it easier to break the rules will probably (conjecture on my part, true) give staff a bigger workload. Is this necessary?

This feature was made in 2021 to avoid people from grinding messages, no other issues. A spammer would not be affected by this cuz all he has to do is copy 6 words on clipboard and ctrl v and the filter doesn't change it at all. And as I said it is punishable to send pointless msgs in any thread which isn't in off topic (maybe more sub forms)

And it's barely any workload, also i don't consider clicking mouse as workload. For universal convience it's 100% worth it.
