In order to get known member, you need to become recognised on the server and you also need to be staff for a significant period of time and then resign.
EDIT: and maybe chill with the NSFW content

The way I see it...
Known Member is harder to achieve than Trial. You have to go through a lot of activity, helpfulness, experience, friendships, and former staff-membership. If any of those seem to be oscillating, you won't fetch it.
Back in the old days, staff used to discuss and vote, but now it seems to be quite different.
