I've been thinking about this for a while, but since I'm not that active or experienced, I'd like to hear opinions and experiences from other skyblock players.
I am expecting everyone regardless of experience and how active you are as long as you have experience or activity on Silver or Gold Zone.
So do you think PvP in bossworld needs to be changed or not, how and why? Do you felt bothered?
Below is JUST my OPINIONS and THOUGHTS, it might be too long, so no need to read it all if you don't want to : )

Now, as we know PvP enabled in Silver and Gold, inventory kept on death on Silver, and still losing Durability on every fight. PvP is added as a challenge for Bossworld, and Bossworld update itself is to change from grinding gameplay to more active and fun gameplay.

Non PvP Players
It's a sure disadvantage for non pvp players, good thing currently there's 1hr passive, low number of players on Silver and Gold, and mostly friendly players. But 1hr passive is short for active players, low number of players depends on timezone and temporary (will be explained more below), and not all players are friendly.

Number of Players
Now assume we used out passive mode, whenever fighting a boss with other players (Silver or Gold), we will most likely hit or receive hits from other players even though not by purpose. Even with just 2-3 players, there are a lot of hits traded between players not by purpose. Now imagine the same amount of players on Bronze Zone moved to Silver Zone, players will be hitting each others more often, and some players that purposely hitting others might be hiding within the crowd creating further chaos. As players progress, more player will be able to access Silver or Gold Zone, so increase of players on these zones will surely happen.

Friendly and Hostile Players
Good thing is most players are friendly towards each other, but some players just love slaughtering other players and creating chaos here. There's even players that demands for big "taxes" and if a player refuse, the player would be constantly killed when entering the zone without passive mode. This will surely disturb other players gameplay and made them not able to enjoy the game.

There is other more arguments I want to state, but it'll be too long.

The result?
Players that have disadvantage would most likely avoid Silver and Gold if they are really annoyed by that, and even changing their gameplay back to grinding as it would be much worth than just staying on Bronze. That means bossworld influence to changing gameplay will decrease. Some disadvantage can be changed, but p2w still have lots of advantage, and other disadvantage is just too hard or can't be changed (pc, connection, ping, etc..)

After the new bossworld update, I think it's pretty enjoyable and active, and I do know that PvP is a challenge. But bossworld in my opinion should also be able to be enjoyed by players with disadvantages. So I am planning to make a suggestion to change that won't disable PvP overall, but a bit safer way for non PvP players and giving disadvantaged players a chance to be able to fight back. But first, as I lack of experience, I'll need to ask for other players opinions about this.

Thanks for reading,
Regards,
Ww.

Well it's a big update and it might be long to tell here, so I'll recommend you to read it at the SBD reset news below. It'll tell you what you need to know about bossworld in general.

Glad someone else feels like that. I'm a new player(been playing for 3-4 days) & today I finally unlocked silver zone after grinding loads if bronze zone bosses. Honestly I think the silver zone bosses are already hard enough as there are only about 2-3 people fighting it and if anyone of those people have a OP sword you can easily die. On the other hand, I was moving to Pirate boss and there were 3 guys fighting each other, I watched them from a distance and the winner of those guys raced towards me and killed me for no reason(I hate you btw). It's really annoying to get killed by someone for no reason.
My suggestion would be, I think they can just add some kind of settings like PvP(Bossworld) : On/Off. Like honestly what's the point of killing weak guys in zones, rather fight with someone with your own calibre. 🤷‍♂️
That’s the risk of going into a zone we’re pvp is allowed if you’re frustrated of the risk don’t go into the zone or near the players that are fighting. Yeah I agree it can be frustrating at times but without the pvp the boss world wouldn’t be that fun. The suggestion about having an “On/Off setting” doesn’t sound like a great idea and probably won’t be implemented. You’d just be getting rid of the whole aspect that makes up the silver and gold zones. They give better rewards and result it harsher conditions.

Well I would say that I’m a pretty active player on Skyblock Dream and this is my thought on your suggestion.

So yes we all know that pvp is enabled in the silver and gold zones of the boss world. We all know that you need to be level 10 to access the silver zone, and level 15 to access the gold zone. In my personal experience, I’ve gone into the silver zone hundreds of times, 3/4 of the time the players didn’t attack me. To the 1/4 they were just like camping the entrance. That’s the risk of going into the silver zone though you’ll eventually be attacked. I don’t think they should change anything because avoiding players is fairly easy and most of the players that are in the zones are friendly. As for the gold zone I would enable passive mode unless I got a god set with a god sword. I do believe that there should be like 2 passive modes handed out every 24 hours though so players could actually have a chance of surviving though.

With the latest seasons addition, bossworld, the game has become much more enjoyable. I am currently level 25 (max level) and im a pretty known guy around bossworld. I pvp alot of people in gold/silver purely because I could be bored or want their stuff (in gold zone).

If people are toxic, ill try and kill them. If they are nice, im not gonna be the rude guy and kill them. Back when I had no stuff and tried farming bossworld I know how frustrating it was to keep getting killed. Long story short, with the increase in players that start leveling up, i do actually think it might be a good idea to give players 2 passives every 24 hours.

BUT on the other hand. This could make bossworld also boring for the PVP'rs like me because everyone would just be in passive mode and if you are max level, you would have no purpose in bossworld.

I honestly think the way its currently made is pretty balanced either way, use your passive in gold zone, you dont lose your stuff in silver zone anyway.

I'll continue killing off the players that prevent other people from going into the silver zone by killing them :p

We all know you had stuff back in the day mr.SkyGod. No but actually I do agree with the passive mode thing you discussed, giving 2 passive modes a day will give the players that have bad stuff a better chance of gaining stuff in the silver and gold zone.

I understand your point, PvP was added as a challenge which makes bossworld more fun and active. But those people that blocking the entrance or alike, are killing for "fun". Now surely the answer to it is to be better and fight back, but a lot of players still have disadvantages in PvP.

So how if I tell a bit about the suggestion I was thinking?
First of All, I think this can't be applied on Gold Zone and too complicated, so no need to mention that. Just comment what do you think this will affect on PvP environment of Silver Zone
I was thinking of a "mode" (Let's call it Peace) where people with Peace on will not able to hit other players (except "wanted" players) but still can be hit by other normal players with Peace off. If a normal player attacks a Peace player, he will be given "wanted" points and become wanted players. If the wanted player kills one peace player, +1 "wanted" points. Player with (at least 2)wanted points will be given small debuffs, and the more the wanted points, the more debuffs a player will get. To make it fair, wanted points will disappear after some minutes.
There are still some other points, but I'll just keep that for now.

Those debuffs don’t do anything to the people with like 32 god apples and full god sets that pretty much get rid of all the effects so it would be pointless. Realistically I guess putting 2 passive options per day would be a good alternative so people that are level 15 or 10 with garbage stuff have a chance of getting better stuff.

For the debufss, we can set in a certain way to make sure it has an effect. I am thinking of weakness to start and wither or poison and probably blindness and slowness effect on the higher wanted points. Or disabling certain buff effects on the player.

For the 2 passive, actually I myself like it, but it directly disabling PvP for more time meanwhile my suggestion is about persuasively discourage players from PvP'ing too much but not directly prevent PvP. From what I heard, Gold Zone has a big role for Top players in competition, and adding more passive time will surely affects it. 1-2 hours is also short for active players, and I am trying to suggest to expand the bossworld gameplay more for "Non PvP" players.

Another advantages from my suggestion is that, if more players in Peace mode, there is less likely player will hit each other accidentally on boss fights, and when more players able to play on Silver Zone, this will be very helpful for friendly players.

I am stuck in simplyfying the suggestion too, so thanks for your opinion and I would glad to hear more suggestions nor criticism, so don't hesitate to comment what you think about it.

Giving players the "peace" would be way to boring and would let me people easily get stuff, while nobody really poses a threat to that certain person. But I'm pretty sure that there are plenty of custom enchants that let you become immune to blindness, and slowness. So unless that enchant comes off the sword it'd be pretty much impossible for that idea to work. And no one would like there enchant coming off in silver zone so players with the disadvantage could get better stuff.
Would love to hear your response though!
