What does capturing the outpost do?

So basicly me and my team have captured the outpost in the midle of the lake a couple times but we got nothing? What does it give? A boost maybe? Is it just there to be captured without giving rewards?

It was supposed to give like a money boost when selling items in the /shop, but for now no idea
