Why is my winstreak keep starting at 2?

So i was playing Bedwars doubles, with my friend, we startedto gain winstreak probably around 8 or so. Then we lost a game. So i took the initiative to check my status and it said that my winstreak is 2 even though i just lost a match. Then, we ignored it and keep playing until we lost. And there it is again, it starts at 2. Why does this happen?

because it shows your current highest win streak for each game mode. you must have 2 wins on solo trio or quad

Well the win streak on the npc is the highest win streak you have running at that time.
Suppose I have no ws in solo and triples but I have 4 ws in duos and 14 ws in quads, it will show my 14 quads ws there. And if I lose my streak it changes to the next highest streak that is 4 ws in duos in this case.

You must be having at least 2 win streak, ur win streak automatically transfers to your lowest one, thus you might be encountering this problem
