Why can't I fire-ball Jump!

Recently I have been playing bedwars, A lot.
And as the update says,

BedWars:
Sped up the main generators by a few ticks.
Fixed invincibility timer going away when you hit someone.
Buffed bed destroys rewards.
Made generators in quad mode faster.
Clay is now blast-proof.
Allowed fireball jumping. <-----------------------------HERE
Added efficiency on all tools.
Reduced the cost of clay.
Added Bouncy Bale (Reduces fall damage when landed on)
Added Stone axe to the shop.
Made the blindness trap a bit shorter.
Improved TNT knockback.

But when I fire a Fireball at my feet, I don't get Jump.
Some say that this was a bug, and needs to be fixed.
I waited long for this, but still can't.

If a developer is reading this please fix this.
