Why are my minions not working?

Hey!

I just reached lvl 17 in Skyblock Dream and my current mission is to collect: 128 Wheat + 128 Coal from minions.
I placed 3 Coal-Minions on 3 seperat 5x5 Stone plattforms and 3 Wheat-Minions on 3 seperat 5x5 dirt plattforms.

Can someone explain me, why they won't start generating coal and wheat?

The time between actions is 15 seconds but after 30 minutes (with fuel), they still haven't produced anything...


Would be awesome if someone can give me a short guide how these minions work and help me out with my question.
