I mainly use TNT. I don't get the point to buy an Iron Axe because breaking a wooden block is easy. However, if you are going to PvP, the axe wouldn't be bad.

i buy 32 wools as i let my teamates to bridge and i get a wood pickaxe and wood axe thats all

What is better Iron Axe OR TNT
TNT Is Better If your going alone.
Iron Axe Is better If your going with your team So you can Block in.


Advantages-Iron Axe saves 2 gold [Jartex please remove Hay bale and Bridge Eggs pls]
Advantages-TNT saves none So.......
