Villager drop rate?

Do villager from spawners always drop emeralds? Because I started some spawners, killing them with fall damage and picking it up with the mob picker chest, and I'm getting arround half the ammount of emeralds compared to the villagers

I’m pretty sure you get half the amount unless you manually kill them with a sword

• 50% Drop rate if they're killed using lava fall damage or other non-player means, and 100% if they're killed by a player using a sword axe etc.​
