villager breeding problems

So, I've been travelling for a bit more then a 1000 blocks and I've stumbled upon a village, I thought "Hey, this should do" and proceed to place down my belongings into some chests and i tried to breed the villagers and failed miserably, I've been trying for 2 days and I'm out of ideas. can you give me tips on how to breed villagers?

Well, you can :
Trade with them and give them a shit ton of potatoes, carrots, and bread, my way
or
do /playerwarps , go to kshitiz playerwarp ( knights shop ) Go to librarians trading hall, follow the railway, and copy his villager breeder, credits to Xitiz11
