There have been several posts here recently about the declining player base on Jartex and numerous suggestions on how to improve the situation.
Skywars and Practice were removed because they didn’t attract enough players to justify keeping their servers active. Bedwars Trios was also removed, despite having a decent player base back in the day.
The server urgently needs serious advertising efforts through platforms like YouTube, TikTok, server listing sites, and Discord. Regular map updates are crucial—either through more frequent rotations or the addition of new maps. Currently, it feels like map rotations happen every six to twelve months, which isn’t enough.
If nothing is done, the server will eventually die out. It might last another year, but beyond that, what’s next—removing Bedwars? That doesn’t make sense. Players will simply move to other servers to play and grind. Let’s not forget the tens of thousands of kills players accumulated in Skywars, which are now gone. The same could happen to Bedwars grinders who have invested years, myself included, with 45,000 final kills.
While Bedwars is struggling, updates are being poured into other game modes like Skyblock or Oneblock—presumably because they’re more profitable. Meanwhile, Bedwars only gets the occasional item rotation.
Then there’s the new /plus ranks, which feel like a slap in the face to loyal players. At $1,000 a year for the top tier, they include keys and 10,000 gold per month, but that’s hardly worth the price. At the very least, it should include 15,000 gold and grant the top rank across all servers while active.
