Hello, dear JartexNetwork players!

We’re thrilled to announce that the new season of Survival is just around the corner!
With a new version of Minecraft being out for a while, we have updated Survival to the latest version, being 1.21.
On top of that we have added a bunch of quality of life changes, new features and much more for you to explore in this new season.

Here is the list of the changes made for this reset. ​

I highly suggest you give a good read over all of these to make sure you are familiar with the most recent updates and are not missing out on important details.​

New! 1.21 Survival​

​

We’re excited to share that Survival has been updated to the latest version, Minecraft 1.21!​

​

Enjoy all the new features the game has to offer once again!​

This means the recommended version to play Survival is now 1.21.​

With this update, you can experience all the new mobs, biomes, blocks, and everything else that 1.21 has to offer!​

​

A huge task to update to 1.21.​

Since this update involved major changes, we dedicated a lot of time to updating our internal plugins to ensure compatibility.​

However, with such a big update, there may still be a few small bugs that we didn’t catch. If you encounter any issues, please let us know so we can fix them as quickly as possible.​

New! Spawn​

​

A season means a brand new spawn, this time we have decided to go with a Samurai themed spawn and PvP Arena.​

​

Gear up and fight in our new Samurai spawn and arena.​

Are you looking for some help? There are plenty of NPCs explaining all the features.​

A new seasonal crate has been added again.​

New! Milestones​

Introducing Milestones in Survival! Complete simple tasks to earn extra rewards as you progress.​

There are 5 milestone categories to advance through, each offering more rewards as you reach new levels.​

​

You will be able to climb through the following 5 milestones this season:​

Mining Milestones​	Farming Milestones​	Lumberjack Milestones​	Fishing Milestones​	Mobs Milestones​
Mine certain blocks to level-up these milestones.	Farm certain crops to level-up these milestones.	Break certain logs to level-up this milestone.	Catch certain fish to level-up this milestone.	Kill certain mobs to level-up this milestone.

New! Player Levels​

​

Player Levels are a core part of the Survival experience, so we’re taking it to the next level!​

​

New levels, more rewards!​

We’ve expanded the total number of levels to 250, giving every player a bigger challenge to work toward.​

With these additional levels come a variety of new rewards and unique challenges to complete as you progress.​

​

​

​

New! Crates​

We are excited to share that we have three new crates with special rewards! We are replacing the old Rare, Ultra, and God crates with these new options to give you more variety in the crate keys that you can obtain by simply playing.​

​

The following three crates will be added to Survival:​

Gear Crate​	Cosmetic Crate​	Treasure Crate​
This crate has powerful items to make you stronger and ready for any fight inside the PvP arena.	This crate has cool looks and styles for your character, so you can stand out and show off your style, such as chat colors, tags, nick colors, and monthly ranks.	This crate is full of valuable rewards, like rare resources and in-game money, to help you on your journey.

Updated! Playtime Rewards​

​

Since Survival is a game mode where players stay for the long haul, we've boosted the number of playtime rewards you can earn!​

Earn more rewards as you play!​

Now, the more you play, the more rewards you'll receive. It’s our way of saying thank you for being part of the JartexNetwork survival community.​

To view these new rewards, simply type /playtimerewards in-game to preview them.​

Updated! Wizard Shop​

​

We’ve completely reworked the Wizard Shop to bring you an exciting selection of new items you can buy with your rubies!​

Now, there’s even more reason to save up your rubies for these valuable and unique items.​

​

Explore the new selection, find the items that suit your journey, and make your rubies count in the all-new Wizard Shop!​

Updated! Nether​

The Nether is now officially a resource world! Just like the main resource world, the Nether will reset every week at the same time.​

This change gives everyone a fair chance to explore, gather resources, and obtain rare items from the Nether regularly.​

Updated! Difficulty​

We’ve increased the survival worlds difficulty to Hard, rather than Normal, which we have had for all the past seasons.​

​

This means more mobs will spawn, giving you even more opportunities for grinding.​

This change will also help you progress through levels that require mob kills, making it easier to reach your goals.​

​

Updated! Nick Colors​

We’ve added a range of new nickname colors for you to choose from!​

You can now customize your nickname even more by picking your favorite color from the /goldshop, or obtain them for free in the new cosmetic crates, some are exclusive and purchasable.​

​

The top rank has access to all default nick colors, so the colors that only have 1 color are unlocked for you, this does not include the new special gradient colors.​

Updated! Chat Colors​

​

Looking to brighten up your messages?​

We’ve added a bunch of new chat colors!​

Head over to the /goldshop and grab a color that suits your style, or collect them by playing from the Cosmetics Crate.​

​

Just like the Nick Colors, the top rank has access to all default chat colors, so the colors that only have 1 color are unlocked for you, this does not include the new special gradient colors.​

​

Fixed! Bug Reports​

We have worked hard to polish and fix as many bugs as possible on the Survival server.​

We reviewed all the reported issues and managed to fix them.​

​

If you come across any bugs with the new release, please report them in the bug reports section on our forums.​

​

You can earn Gold by reporting bugs. We appreciate everyone taking the time to report bugs, so we want to give something back to you.​

Each season when all bug reports get fixed you will obtain Gold in your virtual wallet, which you can then redeem on our discord using /wallet.​

Misc. Updates & Changes​

​

Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:​

• Updated the Seasonal Crate.
• Updated the overall server styling.
• Update the chat hover.
• Added all 1.21 items to black-market and traveling merchant
• Added all 1.21 items to the playershops.
• Updated the pets to be small heads floating around you, rather than armorstands walking with you.
• Re-done the Voting Crate.
• Setup informational scoreboards for certain regions in spawn.
• ...and much more

Have any the levels been adjusted to include 1.21 mobs like the Breeze and Bogged? Or perhaps open X number of vaults? Is it even possible for a casual player to reach level 100 with the level requirements as they are? Also the PvP arena has been built in a way so that wind charges can't be used to propel out right?
