Supply crate ranks?

My friend told me he got a noble rank.I dint believe this at first but then he showed me the voucher.He told he got it from a supply crate drop.Can someone tell me is it possible to get ranks from supply drops? What are the odds and which all ranks can you get?

It is possible, I myself got a Seasonal Noble Rank from a Supply Crate too... I don't know the rates exactly but as far as I know, You can't get any rank better than Noble Rank from Supply Crates. Becareful of ranked players coming to kill you when they find you though...
