General information

Hello, players of JartexNetwork! Today, we are happy to announce the third edition of the Sumo Event.
This is a PvP based event, in which your goal is to qualify for the top 3 in a brackets like tournament amongst 128 players.

But, how does sumo work exactly?
Incase you've never played a sumo 1v1 before, you spawn in a small platform in which your goal is to knock your opponent off it into the water, giving you the win. You will have no items, just your fist.
So some matches don't take as long, we have added a small implementation that will speed up a match if it takes too long.
After 60 seconds of the round starting, if there are any players still left, they will both receive a Knockback 1 Stick, so it will be easier to knock or get knocked off.

This event will be hosted on Sunday 15th of August, at 14:00 PM GMT

Make sure to type /event at least 10 minutes prior to the event in any JartexNetwork lobby.
Keep in mind that only the first 128 players will be able to join, so be quick!
