Not a good initiative, specially when ranks right now are working perfectly fine w/ Prefix / Rank names.
Maybe if something was wrong with them, I'd have considered giving this a +1 but Neutral.

I used to play on this server a few years ago with these. They were great, so I think they should bring them back. Maybe even add a way to get them without actually paying for the rank.

Maybe they can be earned through leaderboards and crates with a really small chance.
