if you get caught breaking a rule you will be punished for it but, what if you caught someone that tried to do that for example: what if someone tried to pearl through a door in kitpvp but failed is that punishable or not

so what you are trying to say is that what if someone tries to violate a rule but fails, is it still punishable (for example: a player from your own team tried to fireball you off in a game of bedwars, which is under team grief, yeah they will get punished if you report with valid evidence)
if that is what you are trying to ask then yeah if they tried to violate a rule but failed even if it was not intentional, they may get punished if reported with valid evidence

If you have found someone breaking a server rule, no matter if it's chat rule break or gameplay rule break, you can report here, on forums, in this link.​

For the report to be accepted, you firstly need to have a video evidence with a minimum quality of 720P, and the evidence must be showing a player successfully breaking a rule, which means if a player tried to break a rule but not successfully, we don't punish for it. Also the evidence must be showing a player having an intention of breaking a specific rule, which means if a player broke a rule accidentally, we won't punish for it, only if it was done intentionally.​
