Nerf Strength 2?

I've been thinking, aren't you guys a little bit sick that strength is the only option in winning and wrecking the enemy team? Besides group rushing with yer golden pickaxes or buying some really good kits you can't even earn the money for, strength rushing is simply the easiest and most effective way - the META so to speak. Hence, I propose a way to nerf it.
Basically, one way we may nerf it is to reduce the duration of each potions. I assure you it is possible in vanilla 1.8 to reduce potion durations with some commands. What I don't know cause you need plugins or something is how to replace the normal potions with modified versions when they're done brewing

It helps to balance more games due to the strategy being very much OP. It *usually but not all the time* takes just one strength pot rush to ruin the enemy team and basically make it a gg. It also makes games slightly less repetetive since most games are just a race to str, it encourages more players to try new strategies to gain an advantage
