My spawner does not work

hi, my username is Shadward and I have a bugged spawner(pig spawner and cant advance to other spawners). Pls help(if I know well, someone must be in creative mode and get like a spaw pig egg or what it is called and right-click the spawner to fix it, but I need a mod to do that. pls help). If I did something wrong with the spawner placing, please tell me that also.

If that here is still up to date, a little Vanilla-Minecraft knowledge would be appreaciated.

Animal spawners do not spawn anywhere except on grass.

As stated above, pig spawners require grass blocks to spawn on, and at least a light level of 7 or higher.
