As of now, fire ball jumping does work, and it deals knock back. If it doesn’t for you, try using version 1.8.9 of minecraft (as it is less buggy on jartex) and make a bug report.

works for me i tried fireball jumping in 1.16.3, very useful when trying to get up eme bridges with no blocks
