Is it better to make a mob grinding axe or sword

i had a pretty good mob grinding sword but when i saw the new skills how axes do more damage to mobs i wanted to know which is better

I think it would be better to stick with sword as after u get custom enchants like Rage and fast turn u can pretty much one shot mobs then a sword would be better cus faster reload speed.
