Im new to jartex skyblock what should I expect?

I am going to be playing skyblock dream when the server has reset but I have never played the skyblock before. I just wanted to know what is the best way to start out and the things to look out for. I have played skyblock a lot so im defo not new but not sure how different jartex skyblock is to other severs
