Solved i can't queue practice help

I am unable to queue practice, everytime i right click on the iron ingot, i am presented with the normal gamemode menu, but when i enter any gamemode, my hotbar does not switch to the queueing hotbar and remains as the normal hotbar, i have tried using the npc but it doesnt work either ,
would any staff be able to help me with my problem?
