Solved Global Other How to use the rapid fire key as a hotkey in minecraft

So basically I use redragon predator m612, it came with the rapid fire key, which using is considered as cheating. Thus, I want to use it as a hotkey on my hotbar for playing bedwars.
but when I go to controls and try to change it nothing happens, how do i fix it?

Sometime you need to use external softwares to be able to make use of such hardware features ingame
But use of such softwares is not allowed and can get you banned permanently

If your client is not detecting the key while settings controls, its better to leave it as it wont be possible to set it without external s/w

Pretty sure you must be trying to set the "rapid fire key" as a hotbar hotkey for things like pearl and block
but if your mouse has that key, pretty sure it would also have others which are named as Button-3 (middle click), Button-4,5 (extras)
make use of those !!!

i alredy use the button 4 for swords and 5 for blocks ig i could use button 3, but is there a way to do this with the redragon software itself

If your software allows it you can change it, I have a 6th button which makes my DPI 100 (sniper button its called), I changed that to press P through my software which I use for freelook now.

So unless your mouse software has a feature to rebind your rapid fire key, you can't use it as an extra button. I had a mouse with rapid fire and I tried literally everything to change what it does but nothing worked.

So just live with the key, use it don't use it, its all on you.

If your mouse software allows you to change it you can, otherwise you can't. Well, you can but its very impractical.
