I’ve put together a few Minecraft montages myself, and syncing the music with the gameplay is the part I always focus on-it makes the video feel more exciting. Color grading is a game changer too, honestly, even a little brightness tweak can help the footage pop. Sometimes I use screen recordings of clutch plays from my streams, and getting them smooth lighting-wise saves so much effort during editing.
For quick clips or when I don’t want to install more software, I just use movavi to record gameplay footage or reactions. No install needed and works well for highlight reels.
