Hello TrulyNeutronic.

Well, lootboxes doesn't work like that, you just get them randomly by playing. I always get them randomly after winning a game.​

You can also do the following to get lootboxes:

• Craft lootboxes with gems.
• Get them from the delivery man in one of the mini-games lobbies.

There is also a cooldown after you get a lootbox, not sure exactly how long the cooldown is tho.

You can mostly assume that there will be blocks in most mid lootboxes and maybe a weapon / food. I have a kit that gives me food, weapons and armour and then I just take blocks and rush, it allows me to get to part-mid first to defeat the other two opponents!
