Event Title:
Discord Mini-Games; The Discord championship.
Event Details:
The idea is very simple, create a championship of 3 week length where each day is dedicated into a Discord Event;
Poker Night: A game of poker will be taking place.
Sketch Heads: A sketch battle between people.
Chess in the Park: Playing chess is for smart people.
SpellCast: Are you a guesser? Spell the word correct.
Know What I Meme: Capybaras are still on top.
Blazing 8s: Pretty much the world's best card player.
Bobble League: Are you a good soccer player ?
There are 7 games in which there could be some time dedicated to the event each day with mini-games that could be fun.
The game will be hosted in VoiceChannels, so a couple of the team's staff can be dedicated to have a room of 8 players each to progress into the next game.
As the first GamingPhase began, people will be able to participate to participate to the game through a signup form like the Karaoke for example.
Disclaimer: I haven't played any of the games myself since I'm not quite familiar with them but in each game I assume you can play up to 8 players (max) obviously chess is done between 2 player, however, to keep the game clean and fast and generally a good experience to the audience make sure to create multiple rooms in the event section.
To make the game fair, all players that participated in the first phase will play all the games and the top (24) will progress into the next game, as I imagine not 24players might win in a single game so those with 0-1 win draw will have to play games of (two) or (three) or any in a game of the Events host liking to play, the ones required with the highest score will win.
In the second phase 12 players will have to play again into the games for the top 6 ones who progress into the next game (again according the wins of each player in the games of 7)
In the last phase all the players are winners since this event is a little bigger than a single day event where you play win or lose and that is it, from top 6 to top 1 prices vary according to what the team can afford to give away.
NOTE: this is kind of my way of describing the game, the main skeleton is to host the Mini-Games on discord and the way you choose is none of my business, I kind of gave a free way through so you dont have to think too hard (making this a no time consuming event to think, and easier to implement since there is a sketch)
