With the new addition to making leveling harder in the latest reset, leveling has been harder than ever before. In my honest opinion this change was needed, because people were level 25 fairly quickly last season.
But they have overdone it by an extraordinary amount, not only are the level requirements riduculous, but the rewards are also not worth it. Starting off with level 7, you are happy you are finally able to go bossworld just to find out you need 40 bronze dust. That is an estimated amount of 60 bosses which takes over 4 hours to complete.
I have noticed that the requirements are doubled if not tripled from last season. Copy pasted and simply doubled.
Together with the fact that, boss damage boosters dont work, pets (specifically the monkey pet) don't affect *special* boss drops (the ones you need to level up). The fact that plunder is close to useless or probably doesn't even work, muscular doesn't work, bossworld is down half the time or it laggs incredibly bad, or the fact that the loot drop percentage is close to 3-5%. It is close to being impossible to for example get, 24 urisine hides, 6 liches jaw, 6 serrated fangs, 6 knights bane. Like seriously guys, who came up with this? I have had streaks where I didn't get a single drop for over 150 bosses. I was using Plunder V and a monkey pet too! Don't you guys think this is ridiculous? Even for Jartex.. this is not making something more difficult, but making it a pain in the ass.
And then I am not even talking about the rewards, for example 45 gold fragments for a level where you need 20 lucky coins, 9 liches jaw, 9 knights bane, 9 serrated fangs, 9 knights bane.
If you're making something grindy, don't make it impossible, make it fun and rewarding.
My solution? Make boss drops a higher percentage. Maybe the higher level you are, the more chance you have to get boss drops. Make plunder work, muscular work, make the pets actually affect boss drops rather than fragments and the loot only. Or even, make it so when you're first on the damage list, you have a higher chance of getting it. #1= 25%. #2= 20% #3=10-15%. It doesn't matter if you deal 0.1% damage or 100%. Theres 0 difference which makes literally no sense at all. Right now people just go and hit a boss once and run, thats not bossing, its leeching. And they get rewarded for it too. Make it rewarding actually staying at a boss and trying to go for the leaderboards. Especially, if you solo a boss I honestly think you should be guaranteed a drop. Or at least make it 75%.
I understand you guys don't care as much about skyblock because youre busy resetting other things, and maybe fixing the boss damage booster, enchantments bug is too much work. But simply fixing the drop rates doesn't take that much effort and time, it just comes to laziness.
These are the levels I have seen so far
I am scared to see level 30-40, what is that going to be? Hm? 50 of each boss drop? I am currently sitting at 1.3k bosskills being the #1 on the server. I can tell you, over 100 (if not way more) hours of grinding bosses, with only a solid 100 boss drops over 1.3k bosskills. It is ridiculous.
I have got my connections and I understand that you guys made this so people get through the season while leveling. So you aren't done after a week. But we are almost 3 weeks in, half way done. And the biggest of the biggest grinders including me probably won't even reach max level. What is even the point in it then? You're giving people, that don't get boosted by 2 teams literally 0 chance of becoming higher than, or even level 25.
I really hope they see the problem in this and don't just scrape it off with laziness and saying; if you don't like it, stop playing. Since it doesn't induce a connection with your community.
I hope at least the bugs are getting fixed. I just needed my opinion out there.. let me know what you think.
