Add 1.8 Blockhitting To Newer Versions​

Suggestion Details:

So, on 1.8.9 or earlier versions there is a mechanic where you can right-click your sword, and it will “block”. This reduces damage by almost half and stops the player from sprinting. This is really overpowered in close situations, like when blocked in and 1v1ing another player. Another powerful example is for keeping up combos by timing block hits to space your combo. Now, for the point of this suggestion, I think this feature should be added for not just players on 1.8.9, but also any newer version of the game. It is possible to recreate the mechanic using server commands to allow anyone to perform the action.​

How could this idea help improve JartexNetwork?

For the many players on Jartex Network that play Lifesteal, Survival, or any other 1.20+ game mode it can be frustrating when they want to hop on and play Bedwars but can't competitively play against 1.8.9 players because of missing advantages. Adding this will balance the playing field and widen the Jartex Bedwars community.​
